Got the call last month, picked it up today. 126600 SD43 Content

As the title says, I got the call last month after being on the wait list for exactly 365 days. Last April I got on the wait list for a SD43. I fell in love with the new 'single red' design when I saw it back in 2017 as I really like the modern designs that have vintage inspired touches. I also decided to have the case back engraved as I was selected for a major promotion at work last fall. I know engraving is somewhat controversial but I don't ever plan on parting with this watch (and the promotion is my justification for the present to myself and I wanted to commemorate that, haha). I love the way the SD43 sits even though my wrist is on the small side at 6.5", although it's more like 7" between the wrist bone and my hand (where I typically wear my watch). The weight and size isn't bothersome at all and doesn't feel significantly different from my Explorer II that I have worn daily for years. Thanks for looking!

Congratulations. Engraving looks great. Since you have an Explorer and the SD43, does the SD43 wear smaller?

In your specific case, I think the engraving actually makes it more desirable. Good job!

I just looked at mine and my case back apparently is all scratched up =( I don't even know how that happened haha

Really ? Surprised by this! (That you are making the move for the sd43) never knew it was on your radar! My most worn watch as you know :)

Congrats op I’ve had mine two years and it basically ruined my collection I rarely wear anything else

Well keep in mind I wrote that the outcome of the conversation wasn’t so positive lol

But yeah I think I would like to add one to the stable. Obviously not concerned about it’s size but we shall see

It looks great on your wrist!
I have the same watch and my wrist is a little smaller than your
