Just purchased a batman, have a few minor concerns
So I bought this unseen and it's just arrived today.
Paranoia has already set in although I don't think the watch itself is a fake I have noticed some oddities. 1. The bracelet looks like it could be fake 2. The rehaut seems to be ever so slightly off centre. 3. The watch is a 2013 which is older than my current Bluesy, and has came in a smaller, darker green box. The outer box looks cheaper, and the card is different. Obviously I will be taking it for a professional look somewhere but I won't be able to for a week or 2 so please let me know what you think! |

Thanks for the comments so far.
The actual watch itself apart from the rehaut being slightly off does look genuine, the rehaut itself is the same as my sub, the invisible crown in the glass is definitely genuine, and the rivet holding the hands is perfectly round. The sandblast style finish and imprint in the bracelet looks very dodgy, surely that's not original? The box is convincing but my other is a cream inner suede and cream outer card box, this is like a very pale lime green almost. Maybe it's just me being paranoid but I just thought I'd ask as I'll have to wait approx a week to get it to an expert. I should be able to get money back if its dodgy, paid by credit card, so no worries. |

Also, the misaligned dial is non uncommon, and can be remedied the next time you have it opened/serviced. |

Looks fine from the images provided. Clasp is correct for that year of watch.

Looks fine to me. The misaligned rehaut is something that happens front time to time and can be adjusted if it bothers you.

The 'misaligned rehaut' is down to the specific digits within the serial number of the watch throwing it off on the other side. Completely normal - in fact, I would be more comfortable with this 'fault' in place. Fakes are nearly always perfectly aligned.

Pictures of gen rehaut numbers (top) and not gen rehaut numbers (bottom). (Moderators, please delete this post if it is in violation). Just trying to help people to determine if genuine.

There’s a huge difference between the two watches. The second one looks choppy/ rough compared the the one shown in the first image. Even the numbers are not of the same engraving quality. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have quite a few circa 2013 and I can tell you that inner box, outer box, and sand blasted clasp is all normal. Period correct. The above mentioned watches were all bought from my A D, the good ol days lol
As to the rehaut I dont see any red flags or on the lume plots I think you are okay but I am far from an expert or the "go to guy"

I see nothing out of the ordinary based on the pics provided. OP, you have two different generations of watch so you will have differences. Everything looks correct for 2013

I just posted pictures of a Genuine rehaut so you can make your own decision about your watch in question.

The box is accurate for 2013, I have a watch from 2014 with the same inner and outer boxes and I’m the original owner. The warranty card is what they used to look like, if the serial on the card matches the rehaut you should be fine. The bracelet is also fine given when the watch was produced. To be sure, I suggest having a watchmaker open up the case back and check out the movement. But everything does look good in my opinion. And for future reference, always buy the seller!
