Is the new WG Sub (Cookie Monster) blue bezel same color as Batman?

Does anybody own both the new WG Sub with blue bezel and Batman? Is the blue on the Sub bezel the same as the blue on the Batman? TIA.

Have to agree Brian these nicknames get more stupid everyday, but today Rolex watches have become little more than Micky Mouse watches with there stupid names, or just ££$$€€ object things and little more.

Full disclosure: Cookie Monster is my favorite Rolex nick name. Definitely rolls off the tongue better than “126619LB”…

And tomorrow the Batman’s new name is called the “bruises” since we are giving random names to watches these days.

Why has a rather expensive beautiful watch been given the daft stupid idiotic nick name Cookie Monster?

I really despair when I hear these nick names, just so childish

Own both, but do not respond to nicknames .126619LB and 126710BLNR

Time to get rid of these silly names .

Does not do the brand justice.

I like how “Cookie Monster” is in parentheses just in case people aren’t sure to what “new WG Sub” refers.

i haven't yet seen the cookie monster in the flesh, but as far as i can tell from the pics i've seen, it seems like the blue they use for the bezel is..."bluer" (if that's a word), than the blue used for the batman/batgirl

Crazy how similar they are, considering one is PM, 3x the entry level Sub price...and the other is currently the "base model" (easiest to get) GMT.

That’s what I like about the Cookie Monster - it’s under the radar, unless you know what it is. And it’s gorgeous!

Yes, this is one of those examples where WG costs more than SS. While I own neither, I am guessing that to some people, a GMT watch is a significantly different watch than a diver, too.

Agreed!

And what stunning watch. There is something about this particular hue of blue that the BLRO, just can't get. Obviously the Red Ceramic under it, as we all know, but wow, that Bluesy Sub is a show stopper for sure.

Even with that said, and I was Sub guy first, I really love my BLNR GMT best.

Congrats and Enjoy.

So looks like the Cookie Monster and Batman get along together well! But would they start fighting over Batgirl if she showed up???

Yes, we urgently need PADI’s always frank opinion of these dubious nicknames

Cookie Monster is a really terrible nickname. Let's all agree to drop it. Really degrades the Rolex brand IMHO.
