What watches would you say is nicer, Cartier or MB&F?

Hello

Cartier Santos skeleton

Cartier Tourbillon

MB&F LM Sequential EVO

MB&F Bulgari partnership

MB&F Panda

I tried to make it fair by my favorite pieces from each brand.

Are there any other nice pieces from each brand that you know of which weren't mentioned?

I've handled quite a few MB&F watches and they are on a whole 'nother level. This came in last week and will be the closest thing to MB&F I'll ever own.

I would say they are very different but even so without question…MBF hands down for me. Cartiers best stuff is vintage and MBF is anything but.

It is really an apple to orange comparison here.

At best. The analogy will be comparing a MB E/S class to an Aston Martin/Ferrari.

For MB&F, you are missing the LM Perpetual and my current dream piece will be able to find a LM2 in titanium.

And Panda is my dream watch which I would never get for sure.

While I can certainly appreciate the craftsmanship, I can only tell the time on two of them

MB&F? Never heard of the brand. I’m partial to Cartier anyway.

Perhaps it's better to compare mb&f with Jacob & Co or even hublot

Any particular reason for this suggestion?

Well they are more original with their complications / designs whereas Cartier is more classic with some very high end pieces.

Cartier I would put more with Piaget, Roger Dubuis

Mb&f with Urwerk, Hublot, Jacob

I like Cartier jewellery watches more than MB&Fs.

Have you asked a user named Finest or another named Too Flashy about their opinion?

I beg to differ here. Urwerk clientele probably overlaps with MB&F but I seriously doubt most MB&F customers would go for a Hublot or Jacob & Co.

Hublot is a Panerai X AP RO clone and Jacob & Co is really targeting a very different audience with flashy designs.

But comparing Cartier to MB&F was kind of odd too. :-)

Apples & oranges. Cartier is timeless. MB&F is avant-garde.

I could see myself wearing a Santos.

LM is probably the only MB&F I don’t mind wearing. Yes it’s nicer, but it’s totally difference price segment.
