Availability Improving

Seems like things are improving at the ADs. Last week I got a call that they had a Milgauss Z-Blue with my name on it and then again this weekend a DJ41 Blue Dial arrived both watches I requested but had little hope of receiving anytime soon. Since I am not a big spender at the AD I have to assume that more people are passing on watches or Rolex is simply delivering more inventory these days.

I was slightly concerned these watches would be too similar but the green crystal of the Milgauss makes it incredibly dynamic meanwhile the Blue of the DateJust goes from bright blue to almost black depending on the lighting. Can't decide which one I like better yet!

Hope everyone receives some good news from their AD soon

Congrats! Unfortunately I’m finding this is not the case. Checked with my AD this week and they claim they haven’t gotten anything on my wish list in a long time with nothing in the store. I asked status and answer was it’s anyones guess.

I suspect ADs in the US know their remaining allocation for this year by this point and it is probably totally committed at least twice over. Perhaps, a few year-end extra surprises will turn up at ADs. We can always hope.

Congrats. Both are great references.

IMOP, having similar colored dials is not a bad thing. I wear only black dials. People should buy what they like.

As to these two watches, I agree the dials are different. And go great together.

Glad availability has picked up for you.

For many of us, it is still a long wait.

I’ve been offered three Rolexes since March and I bought one of those, a Sub LV. The others were PM watches that I had no interest in buying.

I guess so as I finally received a call from my AD. It is not my top list model but better than nothing. I put my name down for this model few months ago. For less popular models, there is still hope. haha. For others like sub or skydweller, my AD is honest to me they don't know when I can be allocated it.

Same here! Got tired of waiting so I bought a Speedmaster Moonphase in the meantime. If they ever call I’ll be stoked but not “pacing by the phone” lol.

OP congrats on two beautiful pieces!!

Nice! I must say, the Milgauss and the 36 Explorer are the two current Rolex watches that tickle me.

While these instances are anecdotal, I got a call last week for an Explorer 36mm. No purchase history, but I met with the AD in late March and expressed my interest. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase.

Been offered a black Milgauss and TT Seadweller as walk-ins at two different ADs recently. Didn’t want either, any the primary ADs I’m working with still haven’t delivered on my recent wish list. I’ll be patient and keep trying. ADs who offered did appreciate my honesty with no interest in the two above.

I seem to get that feeling given the current market conditions. I was on a list since Sept. 2020, no prior purchase history and all of a sudden I get the call last week. Don't know if it's coincidence, but happy the call finally came and picked up my timepiece.

Visited a Dallas AD. They actually had 2 sports models for sale. I was shocked. The 126619LB Sub & an Explorer 1. AD rep said people are dropping off the waitlist since the don't have the funds anymore. I guess the AD went thru their entire waitlist before offering it to the general public. It was actually nice to see watches in the display cases even if it was only 2

AD in my area has been placing some models in the case for sale recently. Mostly ladies diamond pieces, mens 36mm DJ and a TT 41mm DJ. All got snapped up by the end of the day. A friend missed out on the 41… still won’t see SS sport models in cases again ever IMO

No, it would seem things are improving at your AD. And, if that's true, congratulations.

Anyway, congrats on the watch. Very nice.
