Watches worn in space

Hi guys,

I have just written a short watches in space article for our website. Its high level and a bit of fun really, but thought it may be of interest here, so here is the link:

Thanks Robert for a nice read.

Seeing the photo of the Seiko, bought back lots of memories, as this was probably the first watch that got me really hooked on this passion of ours!!

The seiko is a very nice watch - I've got a Seiko 5 in a very similar style.

Anyone ever see that Seiko Spring Drive they made for that space mission in 2007 or 2008? Big watch as I recall (50mm or so) but very nice looking. I thought they were going to sell a couple hundred in limited release but never heard of them doing so.

Found a pic while researching of an astronaut wearing 2 of the spring drive seikos at the same time. Will see if I can find it again
