Sky-Dweller Blue or White ?

Hi All

I've been registered with my AD for the Blue dial Sky-Dweller on oyster for about a year & today during my visit to the AD, they showed me the White dial on Oyster. I have to be honest & in the flesh I thought the white dial looked incredible & pictures of the white do not do it justice.

Now I'm conflicted after seeing the white dial today & just interested & curious to hear people's thoughts between the blue & white dial.

Mind is already made up on the oyster bracelet.

They are both superb watches. You can't go wrong with either. The SS black is gorgeous too.

For me the white dial woks best on PM or TT.

I think the contrast makes the blue a bit more legible to my eye.

The blue has more contrast than is often depicted in photos, making the 24h disk very easy to read at a glance. The black dial tends to hide the 24h disk more because there is no or little contrast between the disk and the dial.

Having said that, I've never met a Sky Dweller I didn't love on sight.

I thank you for pointing that out

Its a very subtle detail, but important nonetheless. The 24hr disk color does make a difference to my eye as well

I'm wearing my black one today. Having worn the blue yesterday the difference in legibility (to my eyes) is obvious.

I was going to sell the black when my blue one turned up, and keep my TT white. But I just can't let it go. It would be too missed. And it's on Oyster which changes the vibe significantly. There's no hope for me when it comes to this reference.

Same for me. I love the sky dweller in every configuration.

Maybe someday I’ll ask for a PM SD.

I have the blue, and my buddy has the white. He found mine to be much more legible at a glance due to the depth of color difference. I also prefer this blue dial with these colors on SS steal, whereas the white on a Polar Explorer to me is awesome!

White for me, but TBH it's a coin toss between all 3 dials on the SS model IMO.

Blue is the winner for. I’m also on the hunt for the Blue from my AD.

Both dials are great.

I think blue works better on SS though.

I’m clearly biased but do consider the black dial as well.

Stick with your first choice. While waiting for mine I was offered white and black dials. I stuck to my guns, though will say of the other two the white was tempting.

Majority love the blue it seems . I have a few sky dwellers and although
I have the means have zero interest in the blue. White>black> For me.

I would find it extremely hard to match the blue to my attire (which is personally a big factor for me when purchasing a watch.

Both are great but white is my favorite! That “silvery” white dial is out of this world beautiful!

I’ve been on ‘the list’ for the blue for over three years. But did get the white two tone on jubilee last year—the white dial is stunning as well and easy to read. You can’t go wrong with either.

I would still get the blue if ever offered although my AD says they don’t receive many which I took also to mean I’m probably not going to get an allocation any time soon.

I think the TT Jubilee really suits the white dial version. Getting a Jubilee for mine is on the to do list.

White makes the watch appear to be larger. Unless you have a big wrist, dark dial colors are the way to go.
