I like the baguette version as well, but the dial being slightly paler and less saturated than the standard makes me hesitate.

On the official pictures as shown the shade of blue looks different between the standard and baguette - does anyone know if it’s actually the case?

Not a fan of the Daytona especially in PM or any form of diamonds, so if I did have to choose it would be the standard dial.

The money supports the diamonds! This may be true but as a diamond phobe (for the most part) and owning the dark sub dial version I'll stick with what I've got.

I am a huge baguette fan on the platinum; just makes it pop and I love how the sub registers blend into the dial.

It’s the only Rolex I would consider with baguettes. Like someone above said, no wrong choice here.

This one too, baguettes on a Daytona are just choice.

Baguette, no brainer. The Lume are useless on the Daytona anyway. Plus they’re much rarer obviously

Owned this for a bit, beats the standard one if you ask me. So clean and the diamonds pop (in better light)

No contest the diamond dial. It is very subtle in person and not too flashy, the diamonds aren't ostentatious. Plus the entire dial is ice blue where the other dial has the odd brown sub dials which aesthetically breaks up the dial and subjectively not to my taste. Diamond is also more rare if that matters, love mine!

Has anyone seen the two in real life and can confirm the standard dial is a tad more saturated with blue? The blue on the baguette dial does seem a tad more muted
