Rolex supreme colab

I’ve been seeing this all over Reddit. Is there any legitimacy to these rumors?

Seems like kinda a step down from a Tiffany colab

it's probably a custom, not a collab.
There is a big difference.
If custom, Rolex is no more involved in this than Nike was with the Satan Shoes.

Btw - Supreme has done this before:

the biggest difference is a collab one is under rolex warranty, whereas a custom one void its warranty.

Seems to be legitimate. We will find out in a few weeks.

Supreme has collaborated with many brands in the same league as Rolex.

This won’t be a collaboration where Rolex produces the dials. They’re buying these references and modding it themselves or via third party.

Highly doubtful as that would quickly open them up to a lawsuit. It will either be an official collaboration or nothing at all.

Sounds like that should be illegal somehow. At least boarder line

Had to Google to find out who they are.
Now that I know I would prefer someone else like Levis since they have a lot of clothing history.

Right! I thought it was something to order at Taco Bell, but...maybe not (?). No matter what, I suspect I couldn't care less.

A skater clothing brand originally respected for sticking it to "the man," (i.e. skater culture) now fully and unconditionally sold out to "the man"

Louis Vuitton, rimowa, brooks brothers, stone island, north face, Nike, Levi’s, the list goes on and on. Full of household names and luxury brands alike.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this happened, but that’s not to say I would be excited about it. I’ll keep my watches separate from my skateboarding thanks.

Rolex has never collaborated with any of those brands you mentioned.

Agreed that most of those alleged "collaborations" are just other companies either customising Rolex's stuff or using elements of Rolex's design to just cash in, but there was actually a "Levi's Youthwear" branded dial that Rolex officially made in the 70's. It was an OP Date if I recall.

That said, all of those official "logo" dials (Dominos, etc) were done years ago: Rolex doesn't go in for that sort of thing anymore.

Yep. You’re right about that. I misread thinking you were asking about brands *supreme had collaborated with. My bad!
