Q/A about my postings......Also, does anyone own a Canon 5D MK II?
I was asked some questions concerning my post recently so I thought I would respond publicly in case others have the same thoughts.
1) I make an effort to take fresh pictures with each watch posted. So I try not to reuse earlier pictures. 2) My "metadata" for each photograph is available for all to see. You can see the date the scan was taken, which camera I used, settings, etc. I look at them frequently to see what others are using as cameras, setting, etc. since I've become a camera buff as well as a WIS. I take a lot of time composing my shots so those who are viewing my posts can see all the details. 3) When I mark something as "SOLD", I have an agreement with someone who is planning to purchase the watch. I don't mark it sold to make other believe that I'm selling more than I am or to create a frenzy, etc. If the deal happens to go south, then I will repost....sometimes with fresh scans. I'm not perfect and make many mistakes like the rest of humanity. It's great when people ask serious questions since it makes you take a second look at what you are doing and how you are doing it. Thanks Rob Sacco aka "robrobin" PS: Does anyone have a Canon 5D Mk II? I'd like to hear about your experiences with the camera. I love Canon (currently using a 40D) but have been playing with a Nikon 700D. Very nice full frame DSLR. If you have the Nikon let me know also. Thanks, Rob |

I have a 5D MKII!! What a magnificent camera, holding the 5D MKII body in your hand is close to ecstasy, having a Rolex on your wrist is ecstasy! If you are "thinking" about pulling the trigger on a 5D MKII, don't "think" DO IT! You will be happy! -Frankie |

I have the Nikon D700 and it can beat up your 5D MK II.

Canon 5dMkii.....when i hold it in my hands it feels sturdy like i'm driving a 3 series bmw. seems to handle better in my hands than a d700. i'm sure it has to do with the familiarity i have with canons in general. thanks for the feedback.
though i do like the hd video ability of the canon!! |
