"Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince" - 2½ hours of FULL-BLOODED CRAP!!!

Hey guys,

There have been Harry Potter films and then there have been half-blooded attempts at creating the latest saga which just about puts the entire audience to sleep!!!

The 6th in the series, this one would have to be the most boring of the lot!!! Give it a miss for sure......hell, give the DVD a damned miss too if you can!!

A rating of 2/10 is the best I can come up with!!

JJ

Really? That is very disappointing and very sad! What did you think of the other movies? The 6th and 7th movies should have been the most exciting ones! I need to take the kids to the movies tomorrow so I will let you know if the sheep agree!

I had liked the very first one "The Philosopher's Stone" as well as "The Prisoner of Eskaban" and "The Goblet of Fire".

"Order of the Phoenix" was boring in many parts, but this latest one just about took the cake!!

Sorry that you did not like the movie. That's sad because I thought they were doing a good job making the movies based upon the book. I did like the 5th movie but it did seem to lack depth compared to the other movies. The 6th and 7th books were so exciting and were the best. I will give the sheep rating tomorrow after I see the movie.

Rotten Tomatoes has given it a solid 84% fresh. That's pretty impressive. I, for one, can't wait to see the movie.

I've heard nothing but positive review about this movie, this is the first negative that I've seen. Oh well, I guess I have to get my butt to the movies and check it out :)

Ignore the old fart at the top...he hates anything that goes whiz bang with a bit of fantasy unless he's getting his cams all oiled up Transbenders.

I know a few people who've been to see this and they say its great. UK media reviews have also been very positive...supposed to be a little darker than the others but the tone helps the progression of the characters (the leads are supposed to be maturing well as actors).

Friends of mine saw it last night and loved it (but they are die hard HP fans, so maybe they are biased?).

That is one long film.

Actually, I'm completely done with the "Vampire" genre. I exhausted that in my youth!

Well, considering the over the top glowing review for Transformers 2, the quintessential empty headed explosion of crap from Michael Bay, I'm not going to take this review too seriously.

Old Sheeptimus Grime loved that flick...I reckon he's fishing for a part in Number 3. He's make a great Transbender!

I'm kinda past teh whole Harry Potter thing...at 33

What I mean to say is that my ex employer got me interested when the first book came out and he bought it for his son. He told me they were great kids fantasy and very similar in manner and tone to Roald Dahl (think the Durselys treatment of Harry etc).

I read the first four and by the goblet of fire I was getting a little bored. I think Jo R' should be applauded for the idea that her characters will grow alongside her readers but I do feel it does alienate the younger readers coming to the entire series fresh.

What has that got to do with the films...bugger all really but they are getting darker in tone but still it doesn't really interest me as an adult in the same way the LOTR or the upcoming Hobbit does.

Saying that, we watched a puff journalism piece "The Magic behind" etc, and I thought to myself when William is ten, these could be the coolest things he'd seen.

I guess it's all subjective...

Being a die-hard HP fan, unlike some of you miscreants, I plan on seeing it, despite (or maybe because of) the ol' sheepshaggers critique.
