Yellow Gold White Roman DD40

After a lot of thought into it, recently decided I had to go with the the classic Rolex YG + white dial Day Date. Been in contact with my AD and hopeful I can get this in my hands before the end of the year.

Any members have this exact model and want to post pics to help tide me over?

I’m with you man. I’m thinking about a RG DD with either the white Romans or the Sundust with diamonds …

There's something special about the white contrast on either the YG or RG. It just exudes class, they can look a little dull in standstill pics, but in person they're on another level. I'd highly suggest it!

Great choice, here's mine!! Bright, and clean, the Romans pop-like sculptures and the most legible DD on the market, a true classic. I like the fact it's a two-color watch, Day and Date background color matches the dial. Good luck!!

I would agree with picking a white dial. They are extremely legible - important as you grow older. :-)

sliver or white dial would be my choice if I were to buy a Day-Date.....as other points out, it is extremely legible versus the traditional classic champagne dial

Really like this model - was offered it by my AD but turned it down as was looking for a different colour combination at the time. Very classy and may purchase in the future!

Here you go. One thing about the deconstructed romans is the beveling really pops nicely under light. It's an often overlooked detail. Good luck!

Exactly! This pic on the left demonstrates the detail beautifully. It's pure class.

and thanks to all who have posted thus far! Some really great pics in here. A lot of you were able to capture the depth of the dial which is hard to see in a flat standstill image, but in person it's so incredible.

Great choice and me too!
I've asked my local AD for either a YG or RG with white romans. Unfortunately they're losing their AD status at the end of the year so they're not optimistic on my chances...

That’s my favorite combo. I have the DDII YG with white Romans and absolutely love it.

How would you all rate the YG compared to the RG with the white dial?

Nice! Hope your wait isn't long. I'm on month 3 waiting for a black baguette dial.

Great choice OP and I hope it arrives for you soon. The deconstructed romans are so nice. I like the silver dial but you can’t go wrong with white either and it’s actually more legible.

Archer, that Daytona is a beauty. Must be the camera angle and/or distance to the camera as it actually appears larger than the DD in that pic despite the black dial.
