FS: 1968 Tudor 7016/0 SWISS Only Snowflake Semi Pointed Crown Guard. First Flake Ref#
1968 Tudor 7016/0 SWISS Only SnowFlake Submariner Semi Pointed Crown Guard. Stamped I.68 7528 on caseback. This is the VERY first REF and is among the rarest Tudor subs. Up for Serious Buyers
Dial, killer original SWISS Only "Confetti Dial" with no rot/bubble. "Pop Tart" Lume. First iteration of Blue Shield Dial Submariners (there may have been some black Shield 7928s sent to South America in 1967). Hands slightly out of match - the way to tell hands are original on First Snowflakes. MK3 Faded Blue Fat Font Insert Semi Pointed Crown Guards were only made at the Very Beginning of 1968 and almost always were a Rose Dial, 619K to 628K serial. The case shape is slightly thinner than all other subs, with a smoothly curved underside of the Crown Guards, and very reminiscent of late 60's 1675 GMTs. Condition, B+, polished by time, scratches and dings, service crystal, serviced 2010s by previous (original?) owner which is why there is a 7030 crown / Tube. Not tested for waterproof. Minor pitting on back of case where gasket met. Keeps great time (but assume will need service) Original Dial & Hands. I have FOUR blue flakes (and possibly one more on the way) and can't keep 'em all so this one and my first Snowflake, a Blue 94110, are up for grabs. Video up on IG: VintageRolexTudor Price 23K USD Wire, Cash Southern New England. Includes Shipping / Insurance in USA, we can discuss international. Guarantee: Return in same condition within 5 days, less shipping / any other coats. Not serviced but keeps good time. Plenty of available references. Heck, I am the guy people ask for in the vintage section here regarding Tudor.
