OP Green - talk me out of buying it

Talk me out of buying an OP Green Dial.

I tried on one at my AD and loved it. Great feel on the wrist. The Green really popped under the AD lights. I'm thinking it would be a nice complement to my (1) white 116500 and (2) Blue-dialed Pepsi - a great color addition.

Cross-shopping it against an LV Sub and a blue SkyDweller of all things ...

Nothing bad to say about this reference. If you have the opportunity, buy it. It'll be a great addition to your collection!

It’s basic.

There you go.

Before anyone lambasts me, he asked for it!

Yep, it's an unremarkable three-hander with a green dial. But at least it's available

Looking at the watches you have now, it comes across as probably about as different as you can get without getting a Cellini Moonphase or a watch that isn't a Rolex, so I think it makes sense.

While I don’t know that I could pull off the green, it’s probably my favorite OP besides the silver.

It’s an ok watch, but these Crayola colored dials are not my idea of a Rolex, but hey, that’s just me.

It took me a year to obtain, but well worth the wait. It is an fabulous color in the flesh.

The OP41s are a reference I recommend to pay only retail for and not over. It's well constructed, but doesn't give the feeling its's worth 2x or 3x over the MSRP.

No Rolex is worth 2x/3x MSRP.

That shade of flat green is not my thing and not much of a fan of OPs myself, nor any of the new color variations. If green is your thing, the new mint green DJ would seem to be a better option.

I actually tried on the mint green DJ and the Green OP at the same time. Did not like the mint green DJ at all. Absolutely loved the Green OP…

I prefer a Datejust over an OP but I saw both in person at the AD and the green OP > green Datejust by a mile

Omar, what didn’t you like about the mint green DJ? Or are you just saying you like the OP green better?
They are very different pieces, each with it’s own charm. But I agree that if i’m going to reach for one on a daily basis, then the OP would win.

Out of my black daytona, pepsi, blnr, sd43 and OG Kermit, my green OP gets the most wrist time. Amazing, simple and fun watch to daily.

I absolutely love my Coral Red OP41 and if a green dial popped up I’d probably get that too. Basic three hand watches with a pop of color, not for everyone, but great for those with a bit of boldness.

I love my new OP green, my second fav colour next to blue. It's a great watch to match when wearing anything green, esp my casual shoes. It's quite a playful colour and not as serious as my other watches =
