Purchase plan for 2023

Does anyone already have their 2023 watch pursuits lined out? This year I picked up a Cartier Santos Blue and Explorer 2 226570 Polar.

For 23’ I’m looking to pick up a White Skydweller and potentially a Glashutte SeaQ Panorama in blue

Interested in hearing acquisition targets from others

Have a few APs on my wishlist, so whatever my boutique gives me. Hopefully at least a 30th anniversary ROO (if that happens) or a RO chrono

My 2023 list is fairly short. 5740 thanks to Ichiran. 15202BC or 26615ti. After a GMT of sorts, perhaps 5164 or 5990. Then a hail marry for a white rm67-02.

Hope they come in for you bro! Those 2 AP are brilliant and of course the 5740 is up there with the best. Great taste you have

GMT-6 or VINGT-8, 5326G, SeaQ Panorama, and maybe a first AP

Mainly playing with preowned ideas...

- Lange 1 Darth
- Patek 3940P and 5110P
- IWC Ocean 2000 and 3531 Little Portugieser

Not sure anything will happen as I am quite happy with my small lot. If the AD came through with a 5740/1G I'd pick it up.

VC WG ultra thin perpetual calendar and my first Patek.

And I wouldn’t say no to a Daytona on oysterflex, especially WG meteorite.

Any two of these would make a great watch collecting year.

Only through Q1 2023 as have custom orders coming our way for my Muse/wife and i (Laine and MB&F). From Q2 2023 onward we'll see what Breguet does for its anniversary... and of course new models when they're released.

I’m actually selling off most of my watches to partially fund something in the future.

My Sub 116610Lvc will eventually be sold to fund a different one as I get older; none of my heirs like it. :(

I have a couple heirs that love my Sub LVC as do I, so it stays

I am always looking but there is little left that I can either find or want.

I am close to being done with watches

I keep saying this (to)myself, yet keep not making good on the threat. I currently have no directly stated ‘23 plan, a real small interest list (at the moment), and yet none of this has impeded the collection to date.

Waiting to pick up my grail in December this year. 2023 will be consolidating time selling a few with remaining 3-4 watches.

Breguet tradition either 7079, 7597 or 7067 would love to pare down overall and turn a few existing watches into one of those.

Potential (AD's already aware and am working with SA's):
Rolex Explorer 2- Polar
AP RO 3-hand (15510)- White Dial

Unlikely (will add to AD wishlist)
VC RG Blue Dial Chrono
Rolex Daytona- Panda (would complete the Rolex SeAL collection )
Patek 5326g

I want a Journe centigraphe S but am told 2024. Maybe people will bail and I land one 2023 but I have some doubts given the relatively low production.

Finally expecting my Grönefeld Principia after a 2 yr wait. Hopefully, a pp 5226 if I get the call, if not, a GS spring drive snowflake.
