Oisin O'Malley says Rolex production cuts?

On his latest video he says there's a new rumor floating around of a production cut ? Real ? Or more bull ?

I like Oisin and he always seems to be honest , intelligent, interesting and mature

Opinions??

Neither. He's cutting Rolex production. These YouTubers are more influential than you think.

I spoke to him about buying my 72 b&p Rolexeses and he said he had 217 to offload so maybe he’s wagging the dog.

Sure, production cuts.

That's why they're busy building another plant.

They only have so many elves on their payroll.

They’ve had to divert some from the production floor to break ground on the new site.

+100

To OP, I also watched a youtube video where they said FTX was going to stay solvent. But I mean aside from maybe electricity disruptions (not sure if it affects the country?!?) I don't think the plan is ramp down anytime soon. Probably want at least DJ avaliable as walk in's.

It’s true. I just went and bought like 6 watches from the grey market last night.

My step brother is the North American Director of Allocations at Hans Wilsdorf Foundation. He said that’s why CPO was launched. So that they can make 4x profits per unit bc they have to make up for 75% reduction of supply.

I also really like hoisin sauce, especially with pho noodles. I also like Omalley’s for the shot + beer specials

I hope you're not accidentally right. One of the first things I thought of when they made the CPO announcement was that with the previous rumor of energy related production cuts, it was strange timing to start a CPO program.

I still don't get where the watches are going to come from and if someone on here can explain it to me please do so. Auto CPO programs rely on trade ins and off lease cars as well as some outright buying suitable cars at dealer auctions. None of those seem to apply to Rolex watches.

Watches can come from anywhere. CPO is really high above market price and wholesale price. That’s the scary part. If they wanted to they can up the highest offers for used rolexes. But for CPO, many are assumed to be trade ins from retail customers.

At CPO prices, they can buy from anywhere. The existence of 9-10 figure valuations of resale companies should give you more than a hint. Look at Bob’s Watches, revenues of over $100m a year. Watchbox revenues of over $300m a year. Inhave to keep reminding myself, don’t be naive, the market has grown more than 10x since 10 years ago.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw a Rolex employee pass out at 31 Flavors last night.

I guess it's pretty serious.
