Oyster Clasp hinge problem

Hello, Newby here so please forgive me if this question may have come up before.
I finally got my no-date Sub (ref: 124060) this week (after nearly a 3 year wait). The hinge on the foldover clasp is extremely tight and it takes a lot of force to open and close it to get it over my wrist. When I first got the watch, the hinge moved freely as it should but after a few days, it became stiffer and stiffer to move. Anyone else have this problem? If so, does it just need to be lubed or is it defective perhaps? Thank you.

Welcome to the forum OP. I had this exact problem in 2016 with my Tudor Black Bay and took it to RSC in London who replaced the bracelet on the spot. Never got confirmation of what the problem was but was astounded that it was sorted with a new bracelet there and then!

I would take it back to the AD and have them look at it. I've never encountered anything even remotely similar in the watches I've owned.

Welcome to the forum.

I’ve never had a problem as you describe. I guess a visit to the AD is your best option.

Good luck and let us know what transpires
