What a great read- thank you. I may now be a GO fanboy. My first job required us to use week numbers for every date.. this would have been rather useful (and unobtainable) back then.

Yes, that's right, the only thing you need to adjust is the date at the end of the month when the month does not have 31 days.
New week starts every Monday 00:01 and when there are 53 weeks this can also be set manually.
