Rolex Day Date RG Olive Dial

Looking at potential purchasing the Olive Day Date. Would it be expected for Rolex to discontinue this model in the near future being a 60th anniversary release? How long does Rolex usually run an anniversary model for?

Thanks

There's no fixed time. The green sapphire Milgauss is an "anniversary" model and it's been around for more than 15 years.

The DD in RG with olive or chocolate dial is amazing.

It's a great watch. I chose the WG version. Good luck in the hunt. Discontinued or not they are out there if you want one. I assume you're looking at one through an AD?

I'm with Lee on the WG preference

Hey Jsmith, nobody knows until it happens, but you can get one for right around retail price plus tax from any gray dealer.

Thanks for the responses.

I had been looking at the grey market as I am in the UK and any Rolex seems to be tricky to get hold of. I did manage to pick up a Datejust Wimbledon 41 with around a 9 month wait which was a best man gift, but the AD said I won't be able to purchase anything else until 12 months time now.... has anyone else had this?

If anyone knows of anywhere with a RG Olive at retail from an AD please please let me know
