Rolex Service Centers in Italy

Does anyone have experience with Rolex Service Centers in Italy, specifically Milan? I assume they are reliable, but wanted to check considering that quality of service seems to vary country to country, based on many posts I've seen on TRF.

Put it this way, my friend that lives in Lucca will fly over to the UK with any Rolex that needs a service to use watchworks in Bristol.

Is he doing it for vintage Rolex watches, or newer ones as well?

Hi I'm in Italy,
I used RSC twice and last time was a couple of weeks ago.
The point is that in Italy you do not have access directly to RSC,
rather, you have to go to any AD in any city and he/she will take care of it
(sending it to Milan).
The good side is that is any city you are, you give your watch and they will send it to Milan. The bad side is that the costs are charged to you.
Example: I gave my 16610LN, from 1992, for a complete service, and it costed to me 1200 euros. Quite expensive. Service excellent, as one would expect from Rolex. However, I find it quite expensive.
As far as I know, public do not have direct access to RSC.
Once it was possible (maybe 4 or 5 years ago), now they changed.
In fact, if you go in the map of the RSC from Italy, and try to find closest RSC to you, in Italy they show you none, but there is! You do no have access, but in Milan there is!
you can try to phone
Rolex Italia S.p.A
Via Alessandro Manzoni 5/A
20121 Milano
tel: +39 02 88 00 00 1

ciao!

Thanks for the input. One option I’m considering is to cross the border and go to Lugano, so that I can get the watch serviced in Switzerland.
