Hard to tell from those photos but if you have any concerns, walk.

Buy the seller.

1000% buy the seller first then the watch. If you’re asking this question you’re dealing with the wrong seller.

The seller is licensed shop although they are newly established, previously a private dealer. I am in Singapore. Comes with box and archieve papers which checks out with the case number and serial number

Honestly, I doubt anyone to get a watch properly wrapped if it was fake. Stickering the case back is a bit overkill as well.

I bought it and then wrap it with rx-8, the price is really good. and my concern is the dial colour it's darker than 15400 or 15202. movement seems legit, and date is yellowish

that's what happens when you have the rx-8 wrap. It's a particularly thicker plastic and will reduce the lighting getting into the dial, and of course the light reflecting back to you. I noticed that on my wife's 15550st, the blue dial just seems a lot more dull than mine... well because i don't sticker my sapphire.

I recently got my 5726 stickered with rx-8. immediately i noticed the dial being a lot duller. Took off the glass sticker and instantly the dial popped back to its glory.

Oh really, hmm i think wspro, rx-8 or any watch film is the same they kinda put filter on the sapphire. I know sapphire won’t scratch easily but just as precaution.

the sapphire is a replaceable part, and the least important part in terms of "original watch parts" in the vintage world. Unlike the octogon bezel that will round its corners after a couple of polishes, replacing a sapphire will look exactly like the original. And besides, a sapphire wont scratch unless it's met with diamond. It's more likely to shatter if you swing your arm and smack a heavy door knob. In that case, I'm not sure that film will do much.

IMO, the watch dial is the most important visual part, and since it's already guarded by a very scratch resistant crystal, I should keep it clear.

Oh right that make sense, I remember just replacing my jlc crystal recently.
And you are right the first thing we see when we take a glance of a watch is the dial.

If possible could you share a picture of your 5726 with this wrap, please?
Is rx-8 wrapping a common practice now in Asia? It is a little obvious in pictures, so does that bother you in the metal?
I hadn’t heard of this before, and I wonder if US collectors are doing this now too.
Thanks.

Looks legit. 15300 is a navy blue as shown. Original date wheel is a cream color. However, once it has a service by AP, for some reason they change the date wheel with a more white color. Not sure the reason for this.

The first picture looks like you left the bezel protector on. To each their own, but I'd be somewhat amused if I saw that in the wild.

I get why people use screen protectors on their phones and put invisible wraps on their cars, but films on watches is something else....

I think just precaution especially for AP bezel, too much polishing will dull the shape

AP can polish it a few times while retaining the sharp edges and shape, after that it's a wear item.
