New Explorer has lost 0 seconds after a week of wear
Was fortunate enough to pick up a new Explorer 124270 from the AD after a long saga.
Have had it about 10 days. I usually set my watches using time.gov, and I have noticed a zero second deviation after a week of daily wear. Most accurate mechanical watch I've owned thus far. Thought it would be fun to share with the forum after seeing so many accuracy posts. |

Thats pretty good. I should get a watch like that and stop swapping quartz into all of them.

What's your system? Wear all day and rest all night at certain position?

Have worn it about 10 hours a day, and I rest it at night on its side with the crown up.

I have been hacking my 126610LV for 20 days on the "WatchTracker" application, I'm at -0.1 seconds per day. I add a data point in the morning when I first wake up and at night when I place it bedside dial up. At night, I see that the watch has slowed (+/- ~1 second). In the morning, after being dial up for ~8 to 10 hours it has sped up (+/- ~1 second). I usually wear my watch for 9 to 10 hours a day, take it off when I workout and then it makes it to my bedside after being in a travel case while in transit home from gym/work.

Brand new 32xx left dial up at night are bang on. Let's hope it stays that way.

Incredible.
My 32 series is running Just over +2 after a week. It rests dial up over night. I think I might try crown up next week and see of anything changes. I wouldn't mind slowing it down just a touch.

Incredible! Also I feel you're very lucky. As much as Rolex quality and certification, it sometimes feels like it's just luck whether you get a trouble free accurate watch. I think my Explorer 1 is the most accurate when I wear it all day. The Daytona, the moonwatch, the snoopy, they are all perfectly accurate if they stay in the box, but starts to drift after wearing. My brand new to me LV is already 2, bordering on 3 seconds off on my 2nd day of wear. I haven't had a chance to just leave it in the box and see yet. Last to note, my Tudor sub is very consistent, 5 seconds faster a day which is fine by me given its age.

That’s pretty awesome, my 32xx caliber can stay at about -1 a day if I leave it dial up at night, no complaints. It seems like Rolex calibrates these movements to about -2/day for some reason from the factory.

My explorer 1 gets +2s/day. Tbh I’m just as annoyed. I have been keeping it dial up overnight. Going to try dial down this month and see if it balances out lmao
