It's a less popular model but still plenty popular and discussed here quite a bit. I personally love the rhodium.

I love the OG Platinum dial/bezel version. Always sad they killed it.

It gets love but not as much love. Because it’s not as popular.

Plenty of love here, it's the next reference I'm trying to get from my AD.

Great looking watch but the platinum bezel is fragile and can tend to have a stained look over time. If they changed it to ceramic I think the YM would be way more popular.

That's my main concern. The sand blast finished is so hard to look after , even if you worn it occasionally, the stains will build up due to the oily finger and you cant wash it off with soap. and so do those hairline scratch... once the stain build up together with hairline scratch, the watch looks dull.

Curious why you say you can’t use soap to wash this bezel??

That’s exactly what I was going to say. I wore a 116622 daily for a year and a 16622 for a while. I cleaned them both with soap and water with a soft toothbrush and never had the bezel stain or fade.

My original platinum dial YM was one of my most loved and still think about getting it back in the collection. Great watch.

Really like mine; probably my most comfortable watch on the wrist.

I have a small wrist and for me at least, it's by far the most comfortable one I've tried on (only one that came close was the daytona), also this case hugs the wrist soo well. I find the weight is also very well balanced.

If they replaced the bezel with fluted or smooth and gave it more bracelet and dial options I'd like it.

The Falcon's eye is the only one I think looks pretty good because they blacked out all the bad parts.

If it is so unloved, why does it still have a premium gray to MSRP plus tax. I am on AD list for one, it will be about a year to get it. It is an extremely comfortable watch to wear.

I think the Yachtmaster II is pretty cool.

I have the sunburst blue and arguably the most comfortable Rolex professional model to wear and most importantly the best looking. I am fortunate to have a few so tend to only wear it on special occasion as to no scratch it !
