BLNR - Oyster or Jubilee?

That's what my AD asked me this morning in an email.

After a bit of a think, I asked for the oyster, but I'm ok with the jubilee as well.

I got the new Sub Date in around a month ago and I love everything about it. The BLNR isn't THAT different but it's a bit "louder" with the blue and PCL oyster or jubilee bracelet and less serious compared to the very austere Sub, so I think they'll make a nice pair.

She did say something to the effect that I better pull up a chair because it isn't happening anytime soon, but who knows. I'll choose to be positive about just being able to think about buying such an incredible watch. I've seen it in person a few times and tried it on in late '22. I'm ok with a waiting period especially as they just came through with the Sub.

For those of you with both, how do you rate their similarities and differences and how do they fit into your collection overall?

Oyster for sure. The PCL bracelet works great on the BLNR.

I have the BLRO on Oyster and would want a BLNR on Jubilee for versatility. In you case I would tell the AD either bracelet would do, it may cut you wait time in half.

Jubilee really looks good on this. Another watch the AD won’t get for me

Jubilee for BLNR. Not sure why. It's just looks "right" to me. Love Oyster for BLRO. Regardless you can buy an additional bracelet and have both at the ready.

Oyster for me, but it might be a little more nuanced. For me, with close to 8” wrists, I think the oyster just looks more proportional, and feels more substantial. I see folks with smaller wrists that post pictures and I am like wow, that looks really good. Sigh. YMMV.

Jubilee will add a lot of variety, especially as the BLNR is already similar aesthetically to a black sub.

BLNR - Oyster or Jubilee?

Because you have a SubDate, I'd say Jubilee for sure. It really separates the two somewhat similar looking watches and makes them feel quite different from one another. Oh, and the BLNR looks damn good on the Jubilee!

I bought a BLNR with Oyster because I thought it looked better. After few months I change it with Jubilee and now is at it should be, I just love it with Jubilee.

My opinion, Oyster for those models on which you don't have choice for Jubilee bracelet.

I prefer jubilee but you can still have both and interchangeably wear it.

Oyster for the look, Jubilee for better wearing comfort and as an homage to the 6542.

I got my BLRO on Oyster and now have it in Jubilee.

Your watch, your choice.

Whichever comes first and then ask to purchase the other bracelet if really neccessary. :D

But, if there is a choice of either at the same time, then jubilee as you already have an oyster in collection.

Great question, don't think it's ever been asked either...

Get it on Jubilee, A date Sub & BLNR on Oyster are too similar in my opinion.

Before I got the BLNR on Jubilee I would have said Oyster. Once I got it on Jubilee I would not change it up. I like the look and the feel and wear. Either is great and I would call the AD back and ask for either, which ever comes in first.

I was also offered the choice and was set on Oyster. My AD had both to show me and as soon as I put the Jubilee on I was sold. Love it!

Jubilee ... those Oyster PCLs are scratch magnets and could drive you nuts.

In ideal world jubilee on BLRO, oyster on BLNR. But if just one, I prefer Jubilee.
