2022 Lange Zeitwerk movement
I counted 32 inward angles on the new generation straight remontoir bridge.
@penny_watch_seoul IG. This is seriously impressive. Does anyone know how many Zeitwerk are made annually? And what are the retail prices for the platinum and pink gold as their website is indicating "price upon request"? |

Thanks buddy! That's very helpful
Maybe I'm in the minority but I think the pink gold pricing is reasonable given the complication and hand-finishing involved. I do like it very much but not sure if the 41.9mm is an issue. Will head to the Boutique to try. |

That may be true with the more complicated ZW Date. But a regular ZW is something anyone can order unless/until Lange changes that. There was all sorts of misinformation in 2021-22 about Lange's sales policies, and Lange didn't help themselves by moving the goalposts a few times and by variously closing down and opening up the ability for anyone to order certain models at certain times. When I visited a boutique last week, the manager had a rose gold/black dial Datograph that I believe anyone could buy. If I remember correctly, the Dato was one of those models a year or two ago that was rumored to be restricted, but I think Lange just wasn't taking orders from anyone for that piece for a period of time. |

Yeah I’m also not sure how they determine which models are closed for ordering and which aren’t. For what it’s worth when I enquired about the Zeitwerks they gave me the prices and didn’t say any were closed for ordering so I assume they’re all available. I’m sure you’re right that pricing will be different for different regions due to currency exchange fluctuations and other factors. |

I felt the Zeitwerk actually wears small for its diameter. Very wearable even for smaller wrists. First gen WG is still trading in the mid-60s USD. Dunno who is paying up for the 2nd gen. The date adjuster and a slightly thinner case aren’t +80% nice imo. Besides, the black dial WG is the best looking.

I tried the new ZW last fall, and IMO the black dial WG is striking - but something about the pink gold makes the zeitwerk pop a little bit more.

I had one and sold it. Cool watch but a little boring. You’ll be able to beat up the dealer on price a lot I would think. I paid mid 50s for a brand new one from a lange boutique in March of 2020.

Was at the Boutique earlier and thanks to the friendly SE, I got to try on the Lange 1 Time Zone which has the same diameter as the new Zeitwerk (there was no available Zeitwerk prototype available at the Boutique). Unfortunately the L2L was too large for my wrist and I don't think I will proceed with this beautiful timepiece.

Also, be warned, Lange will not honor whatever they tell you RE: future allocations.

Bought my Zeitwerk and was told I'd get an SS Odysseus.
Keep in mind this is before it was a "hot' watch. This is also before all the Lange hype. And it was MARCH 2020, during PEAK COVID fear, when stocks had collapsed. Anyways, they changed their mind later, so I got annoyed and sold my Zeitwerk. |

Another angle of the Remontoir bridge. Spectacular.
@sjx If I were Wilhelm Schmid, I will only allow customers to buy the Zeitwerk after buying a Odysseus plus a Saxonia, and not the other way round. |

I think this is unfair. I read about your case and that sucks. However, my experience was great. I bought my first Lange from a boutique and was told 12 months for the steel Odysseus and received it exactly on time.

I tried on a Zeitwerk in the NYC boutique and was really impressed by it "on the wrist".
