2023 Releases
Hi Gents
I have been here since 08 and had been loosing interest in the Watch nonsense through covid and the crazy times recently . But this new Yachtmaster 42 titanium and even the new bigger Daytona has got my interest again . My local AD even suggested I look at the Green SKD What's your flavour ? |

Of the new references I like the RG teal dial skydweller the best, but it’s more than I can swing right now so if I had to pick one to buy (and wear) I’d go for the Ti YM42. The green dial SS skyD would be the other one I’d shell out the cash for, but none of the new releases were awesome enough (for me) to ask my SA for anything besides the BLNR on jubilee I’ve already been waiting for.

This year Rolex nailed it and I am very excited about the YM42 Ti and Platinum Daytona with display caseback... I'm back to chatting up my AD like it's 2019 again. Green Sky is great too. Judging only from pictures, I think I like the blue the most. Will reserve final judgement until I see the green on my wrist. The Blue SS was the only unicorn I was never able to buy before Covid. I would take either the green or blue if offered.

I'm on board with the green SkyD!
I unfortunately don't have the means to acquire it without liquidating a few pieces (Seamster 300m and Pelagos LHD to get the SkyD around 10K), but I would do it in a heartbeat if I was offered one. Truth is, with my modest spend history, it's irrelevant anyway unless "it's happening" shifts to overdrive. |
