Picked up a PM Daytona

So.... after getting my gmt meteorite and yg sub, I was craving badly for a PM daytona to complete the collection. Was initially planning on waiting for prices to drop further but after seeing this dial being discontinued and not liking it's successor, I decided to pull the trigger with a grey dealer

Compared to both the sub and gmt, this wears more comfortably on the risk and feels less heavy. Love it to bits and together with the gmt meteorite, are 2 watches I plan on keeping forever

Stunner! If the gold Sub is the blue dial version I will take that off your hands!

thanks all for the kind words, what made me pull the trigger on this vs the 126508 was all about the index markers. i love that in the 116508, it is shorter/fatter and most importantly has the black trimming on it.

i feel it provides a lot more contrast vs its successor which seems to have the markers blend into the dial

What didn’t you like about the new one? New one has the thicker mid case and gold indeces instead of black

I love the indices on the older model. I find that it process a lot of contrast compared to the ones on the newer version where it just seems to blend in with the dial

Never seen the new one in person but I have a smaller 6.5 inch risk and I would appreciate a thinner case
