The 7 Figure Platinum Yacht Master

Monaco Legend Auction held a watch auction on April 22-23, during which one of the pieces offered was the personal watch of Patrick Heiniger, the late president of Rolex. This is a one-of-a-kind piece, the only Yacht Master housed in full platinum, which was made in celebration of the 10 millionth chronometer movement produced by Rolex.

“The One and Only, Dix Millionieme Chronometre, Yacht Master, Automatic Wristwatch in Platinum, Sapphires and Diamonds Indexes Dial, Reference 16 620PT”

I’m not going to lie, that’s pretty sharp looking.

The 7 Figure Platinum Yacht Master

Good to see it hammered above its high estimate range.

I wouldn’t want to have to pay the service cost to replace that rotor!

…not my cup of tea, but nonetheless, nice to see something different with a unique backstory.
