TGIF, ladies and gents

The hello, Friday run. What a long week!

What's in store for the weekend TRF? We've got a pickleball tournament, kiddo's soccer game and a trip to SF to see the Giants.

Sanding down the outdoor teak furniture, spreading mulch, planting new rosebushes and power washing the deck.

Wanna trade Jesse?

Haha - thanks Eddie, but it sounds like you've got it covered! I'll take one for the team this time.

Today my extended family will be participating in our 39th Annual Fun Run & BBQ. Five of us 6 siblings used to be runners so we started this tradition as a fun way to gather. I’ve completed 4 marathons in my younger days and had the pleasure to run 2 with 2 of my siblings. I’ll tell ya, you really get to know each other when doing training runs of 3-1/2 hrs.

As the family has grown, and ages now span across 3 generations we have more divisions than running. Walking, bicycling, strollers etc. On occasion we even have t-shirts made with the yr to commemorate the event. I think it’s a cool tradition and hope it will continue on for yrs to come!

Hey Jesse, how was the Giants game?

We went to the kids’ soccer games, some swimming, and a lazy Sunday morning now drinking coffee, doing some trivia and I just had my first proper go at yoga, cramping up several times which made my wife laugh.

Oof, yoga is not for me!

We've got the Giants game still to go tomorrow. Looking forward to some nice Bay views and beers.
