Bermuda - Worth Rolex Shopping?
Hi Gang,
Off to Bermuda for a getaway. I haven't been there since Pre-COVID, Pre-Rolex craziness - so my recollections of full cases are from another era. Anyone been recently? Is it worth heading into Hamilton to look or, as I STRONGLY suspect, the world there is just like here. I'm in the market for a DJ41, but not in any rush, and always steel sport/gmt. Thanks! |

There’s a good chance they might have a DJ41 in stock

I was in Bermuda, and stayed just outside of Hamilton, in summer of 2021. Beautiful island. Don't bother shopping for a Rolex. It will be a waste of time. There was nothing to buy then and I'm sure it's the same situation now: Nothing to buy as a "walk-in" customer, just like in the USA.
Enjoy the sun, the sand, the water. |

My very 1st Rolex Sub was purchased in 1998 from Crisson in Hamilton, my wife also bought a ring that day. I wonder if this would count as a purchase history and let me pick something up ;)

Like fishermen say, u can ONLY catch fish if u cast that net.
I'm going back home in July and there's only one AD in the entire island and they have a "first come , first serve" basis but limited stock but from reviews, I've seen flyers pick up datejust, daytona etc. I was in Hawaii earlier this year and was offered a DJ41 (silver dial smooth). Ya just never know ..sometimes luck strikes in the most unexpected place!! |

We were in Bermuda in 2022 and the AD’s case was full of tumbleweeds.

Too much insurance money there. No chance unless you’re wanting to see exhibition pieces.
