Oris Back From Service!

My first “nice” watch…. and the crown lines up. No excuses now, Rolex!

That's a nice one, Rob! Oris makes fantastic dive watches.

Thanks, Rommel! I got it back in 2006, I think. It died in the first 30 days and was repaired under warranty. Ran fine until recently when it was gaining about 45 seconds or more a day. Supposedly they dialed it in. I'll keep an eye out over the next few days, as I set it to my phone.

My daughter has the Aquis Upcycle. We like the Oris brand too. Sorry to hear you’ve had issues with it though!

In almost 2 decades of service, I can’t ask for much better from a mechanical watch.

Oris is a great brand minus their US service center. I have it back, but it’s been a saga.

I’d appreciate hearing more about this, as I’ve an F1 that will need a service pretty soon. I assume you went through an AD? Or did you send to ORIS in the US yourself?
Great watch!

Thanks, all! Been honeymooning ever since I got it back. I forgot how great it wears. The current Aquis is pretty similar.
