What letters have you got ??
After seeing Franks (diablojota) post with his nameplate and PhD I wondered what letters can you stick after your name ? The only ones I can stick after mine are F.R.G.S. for Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. I have no other accademic or professional qualifications.
I fully anticipate a hoard of whimsical answers.

WO (ret'd) S.G. Exner,CD
CD - Canadian Forces Decoration An award for 12 years of Service A clasp is awarded for each 10 years afterwards. It is, however, not proper to add numerals. ie; CD1 CD2 as I have seen many times. As I had completed 26 years of service I have a CD1 ( I would have needed 6 more for a second clasp)

He was Mac and his son was a president of the RGS. Shackles was also president of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society. I was only a member of the RSGS when I lived up there. They wouldn't have riff raff like me as a fellow.

i have IV at the end of my name. not because of any educational achievements or otherwise, but because i'm the 4th in my family to use my name.
I guess my dad was not a rolex fan because if he was, he would've used IIII instead |

Dutch titles before the 'change' are in front of one's name. Mine is Ing. In our culture the use of titles in everyday (business) life in uncommon. It still amazes me to find out that a colleague that I've known for years and years has a university degree. They never mention it and we don't read eachother's business cards

Owner/Operator, CEO&CFO, President, etc...
I'm just a loxmyth, but I can add RL (Registered Locksmith) and CJS (Certified Journeyman Safecracker) if I dare! Its all I have after 20 years in the business. Before my name, I can add "Deacon" (Presbyterian), but I don't want to held to a higher standard so I don't let ANYONE know. WHOOPS!

I have a BA (Bachelor of Arts degree), but I don't think anyone really puts that behind their name.
I have some IT letters.. MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) and MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician). Still being lazy on getting the MCSA and MCSE. |

MVO is the only one I have after my name. It is an award rather than a proffesional qualification.
