Lovely watch.

At first I was like, what bags is he referring to? Then I saw the baguettes on the dial and it clicked in my brain.

This is the exact trio I’m on the list for with my AD, albeit different models

Should have the YG Baguette 228238 this year

And hopefully SS Daytona next year

Forget land/sea/air…..DD/Sub/Daytona is where it’s at, 100%!

Typicaly...

A trio of:

A chronograph..
A Divers watch (minute diving timer bezel)
A GMT with a 24 hour bezel to track UTC or "Zulu Time" (although I suppose a tradition flieger could fit the bill as well)

Yup as others said,

Land/Sea/Air = Chrono/Diver/GMT

Which is a good variety of features to have in a collection. Most Rolex guys equate this set to Daytona/Sub/GMT Master

I spiced it up though as the dials of Sub & GMT are way too similar. So I have AP/Rolex/PAM as my trio.
