Rolex to release new model 2023,,,???

Saw this, just wondered if anyone else had heard similar,,,?

https://youtu.be/K_d7ibSw4yM

Paul Thorpe reports on his YouTube channel, of a potential new release from Rolex at some point later this year?

Take it with a pinch of salt, or confirm if you’ve heard similar rumblings.

He’s says it’s not clear whether this is a new version of an existing model, or a completely new reference.

Personally I would be surprised if it was a completely new reference given the recent release of the 1908 range.

I could imagine a new version of existing watch - Coke bezel GMT anyone…. Fingers crossed! Lol.

Forum thoughts,,,, ???

I don't know what you are trying to say here, but it looks like you are making fun of Paul Thorpe. If that's the case, I salute you.

Brilliant

He should put his own teeth back in and give the others back to their owner his horse

Do you really trust a 65 year old man wearing a 'Palm Angels' T-shirt?

Not sure what he’s done or said that has earned him so much disdain from members here, but you’ll hear plenty of it on this post.

How about his son being prosecuted for selling £659,000 of fake Rolex to unsuspectiing buyers. The apple does not fall far from the tree.

He is what the Americans call a 'douche bag' - and us Brits might call a 'toe rag'

They are compliments, I’d call it a bottom feeder.

He’s mentioned this numerous times on videos and podcasts. Knew nothing about his son selling fake parts/watches apparently. Doesn’t have much to do with his son now, according to the Scottish Watches podcast he was on.

Very VERY occasionally he's posted something interesting, but personally I wouldn't trust him with the TV remote, let alone anything to do with parting with several thousand pounds of my hard-earned.

He often makes predictions like this and is rarely (ever?) correct. I think his approach to maximize his YT channel is to regularly make these claims in order to try and get his views up.

Did they not release a new white gold Daytona (with Red 100 marker) a few weeks back on the quiet? Just updated their Website with no announcement.

I mean, if you consider an instagram post, press release, front page of website, YouTube video and a whole LeMans race announcement as 'on the quiet' then you're right.
