Indies for service?
It's been a while since I visited here, but in the meantime my trusty Sea Dweller, purchased back in 83 or 84, started losing self-winding, so I guess it is time for service - I honestly can't recall if and when it was serviced in its 40 year life. I presume it at least needs cleaning.
I know about the dealer-factory route, but does anyone know of a good indie service in the Philadelphia area? |

He’s not in PA but Rik Dietel is outstanding and one of the few if not the only one I would trust with any watch I owned.
He is on the forum as Rikki. His business is Timecare Inc. Sent from my Apple privacy invasion product |

He is officially moving his business on 8/4. So turn around may be a little longer. His work is well worth the wait though.
I suggest calling him first. http://timecareinc.com/ Sent from my Apple privacy invasion product |
