16622 platinum dial discoloration
Hello there,
Recently I have noticed a darkened area around two o’clock marker on my 2003 16622 YM platinum dial. Is this normal for a watch this age, or should I be concerned with the seals? This watch is rarely worn and never really submerged in water. |

I had a similar stain about half the dial. Don’t really know but think it was oil.
Watch was never opened before. Since the dial was ruined I had it removed and washed it carefully myself with dish soap and warm water. Nothing to loose anyway. Was afraid the lettering would come off but it cleaned up perfectly and no damages to the dial. Fitted it back and never happened again. (Mine is slightly newer 2010)
