Congrats! It’s a great looking watch.
So your AD required you to buy the Pelagos in order to be considered for a Rolex? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I hope you bought it because you love it, not because you were forced to buy it.
They are great looking and well made watches btw. Love mine. |

i was looking at the new alinghi fxd because of the carbon case and the pelagos 39. went with the 39 because i don't think i would like the fabric strap on the alinghi in the long run.. i have been wearing this pelagos for the past few days, easily one of the lighest titanium bracelet watch that i owned (i have a couple) and i barely feel its there when wearing it. if only the bezel and dial is matte like the LHD (it's alot lighter over the LHD) |

Congrats! Own and love it. I have to make a conscious decision to not wear it to give the other watches in the box some love.

Congrats OP! Glad you got a cool piece along your Rolex journey. I know most of us here in the US are probably turning up our noses at the concept of forced purchasing, but at least you know exactly what it’ll take. Being told “don’t worry your on the list” forever and never getting the piece you want is worse to me than being told “if you buy this, you’ll get the piece you want very soon.” What Rolex are you wanting to buy?

yes, usually in SG if you're direct with the AD, they don't play games. they tell you what's the requirement for the specific rolex you wanna get, all you need to do is fulfil them within a time period and they will get the rolex allocation for you. just a simple 126610LV |

Those look so good. I want to try one even though I have the original Pelagos on my wrist. The more aggressive bezel teeth and the flair of the slightly sunburst looking bezel always catch my eye

Can't do sunburst. But I'll make an exception for le mans daytona. Not for pelagos. Congrats either way. Which Rolex are you getting or wanna get ?

Tudor has recently changed their presentation box.
they cheap out and replace it with literally cardboard box. it's light and filmsy, looks like its going to break down once you open it. |

Wouldn't it be great if they were presented in a sturdy watch roll. Something with an actual long term daily use. Congrats on your pleagos. Personally I would absolutely never play the purchase history game. But each to their own. |

Congratulations OP. Looks great
Agreed, boxes are not worth the cost of production. Single watch roll or travel case would be so much more desirable and useful.
