Help me decide
I'm sure this has been discussed before, as I have read many post on a ln Explorer ii (1216570) vs Sea Dweller (16600). And there seems to be a 50/50 split on what to get.
However, my collection currently has a 40mm Yachtmaster (126622) slate dial. And a Explorer 1 36mm (114270) black dial. I am looking for something different and keep going back and forth with what to get. I like the white dial option with the Explorer since it's drastically different from what I currently have. However I had an older Explorer ii 40mm polar and got rid of it for my Yachtmaster. The sea Dweller is black just like my Explorer so I don't know if that gives me any more versatility than I have. I would like to keep my purchase price under or at 10k.is there another Rolex that should be considered? Thanks for your help. |

Usual caveat ignore what random people say on forums and go for what you want but I personally would dump the Explorer 1 and get an Explorer 2 to leave the YM as the fancy watch and Exp2 as a daily/tool watch but then I prefer my watches 40mm or larger…

I'd go with the Polar Explorer II. I am not sure if you've tried on the Sea-Dweller but it is quite thick and the case back can be uncomfortable for some.

I tried a SD on a few weeks ago, it was big but not awful. I don't want a DJ, I have never cared for them.
