Pleats or No Pleats?
There has been a long history of debate over wearing pleated pants vs flat fronts. I have heard the rest, now I want to hear from the best - the TRF community!
Do you prefer pleated pants with cuff or flat front with no cuff? Or flat front with cuff? I am curious to know what other TRF members like. -Frankie |

I keep suits with both "pleats-cuffs" and "flat-no cuff" and find myself always going for the "pleats-cuffs", especially on dressy occasions. The only time I go "flat-no cuff" is at work and even then I prefer the "pleat-cuff".
I just think the "flat-no cuff" look is a high fashion young kid thing, like in fashion magazines, which my body is no where near! |

Pleats with cuffs, however, pleats are now getting hard to find, especially in casual slacks. Apparently the desingers out there think we should be wearing flat fronts.

Pleats and cuffs are decidedly out of fashion, however, if you find a Jos A Banks store you will hit the gold mine of pleats and cuffs. I went in a few months ago looking for something to go with a blazer and they had nothing but pleated, cuffed pants.
