Has Anyone Turned Their BCL’s into PCL’s on an Oyster Perpetual
Inquiring to see if anyone has turned their brushed oyster bracelet on an Oyster Perpetual into one with Polished Center Links and if so how? Or if you have to purchase a PCL bracelet? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Great question/idea. I think it would look great, however most on here are anti PCLs

I realized that as well about people not being fans of PCL’s. I’m thinking it would look good on my OP

I haven’t thought about it, but would love to see it. I think it would look amazing with certain dials, but perhaps it would overlap too much with the DateJust on Oyster.

Yeah I think it would look like a DJ. I think it would match the polished bezel which would look good. I also think it would look unique.

It’s been done before, not hard to do at all. There are pics somewhere around here. Rolliworks used to do it for ~100, would imagine it’s a little higher than that now with inflation. They do a great job, used them for brushing out PCLs a few times.

I think it would look great as it would match the bezel. I've seen people going from PCL's to BCL's, but not the other way around. PCL's can be a PIA keeping shiny!

IMHO, DON'T.
I know you THINK you will like this (and I'll admit, it will look awesome when you pick it up for the very first time), but I promise you, you will learn to hate the PCLs showing every hairline scratch. This isn't even about keeping the integrity of the watch intact, I don't care about that. If you insist on going down this road, put some $ aside to change it back, you'll probably see the light on that sooner or later. |

I say go for it - it’s your watch and you should do what you want to enjoy it the most. |

I thought of this, if someone has please post. If I do get the OP41 green I might do it. For me it would be a change up watch so I can limit the scratches. It would match the polished bezel well.

I would keep it as is! If you like PCL, get a Datejust.
Just mho, but the OP is amazing and understated, I love the BCL |

I have GMT and Daytona with PCLs, look nice but definitely show more wear. OTOH, my two brushed finish OPs both look like new after some pretty extreme wear conditions.
