That’s “vintage enough” that you want someone who’ll stand behind it.

Not stores as such, but I’d 100% contact Matt Bain, and Adam or anyone at Menta. (You’ll need an appointment with either.)

They'll beat any price from any other local watch dealer

Probably not a bad dealer for an RM or rare AP - they seem legit to me. Just because they don’t dress like European watch co doesn’t mean they are bad. Looks like they delivered some heavy hitter gem set Rolexes to Celebs

Maybe for an RM or Yeezys. This is not where I’d go for a vintage piece of any kind, certainly not a vintage Rolex given the nuances and the minefield that’s out there.

I would not go to Seybold for vintage unless you know what you’re doing. Collectors I talk to in area all say Adam at Menta is terrific.

I'd be leery of any NOS 16610's or 16710's at this point. The market is on a down turn and anyone who had one would've had to be crazy to continue to hold on to one at this point. So many people polishing and putting stickers on watches to inflate the price. She I started collecting, you rarely encountered a faded bezel. Now they're everywhere. Just be careful.

If in Miami Adam is your guy for this. He knows his stuff. If you don't mind shipping there are more options. Many of the other rec's are not who I'd want to buy those references from.
