Rolex Pepsi from AD

I’d like to hear from people who bought the Pepsi from an AD this year which month they got the call? My sales rep at the AD told me he doesn’t think they are sending out the Pepsi anymore, but wasn’t very clear if that’s temporary or permanent. I have a feeling they may have stopped sending out Pepsis completely, I know Rolex sends shipments of watches every week or 2 to ADs, so it would be pretty obvious if they stopped producing them or not.

Knowing the month they bought it (or the month the warranty card is dated), will not tell the status of production

Many dealers have stock sitting in the safe and just because it is dated recently does not mean it was just sent to them

Get your Pepsi while it’s on sale; buy 1 and get 2 free! 😁

This was your ADs way of indirectly saying you probably won't get one. I don't mean to be negative, but I think it's important to be realistic.

There is a narrative floating around that BLROs will be imminently discontinued. The fact is, no one knows anything, yet, people will believe anything. This will work against your favor as it's likely ADs believe this narrative, and will either (1) hoard BLROs to see if it is in fact discontinued or (2) sell to key clients that still haven't been allocated one. Key usually equates to $$$$.

Life's short. Buy one from the available channels if your budget permits.

This has been the narrative for the past 3 years. Not saying it won't happen, but not a new topic of discussion either.

Yup. A polite way of saying that if they get a Pepsi it’s already sold to someone else.

AD has one on "exhibition" until it gets allocated.

It’s always seemed that rolex delivers in batches. So one month will be Daytona heavy, another GMT, sub, etc. from a production efficiency standpoint it makes sense.

This coupled with the fact that AD hold stock vs when they sell, I don’t think month to month would provide any reasonable indications.

Maybe quarter by quarter if sample size large enough

This is true and well known that Rolex switches the production lines for different models periodically and that's why the deliveries vary.

I am going to use Frederico's line and say "if the BLRO is discontinued next year I will eat my shoe"

Can you elaborate this? Does this mean if no BLRO on display/exhibition, zero BLRO inventory?

This is all bollox!
It's Rolex playing hold back games again. Trying to generate false scarcity! They are masters at it, and you're all falling for it again!
How can Rolex have problems with this colour bezel all of a sudden when other companies, tiny to them in comparison, do not?
And I guess now all the secondary prices have increased!
Scaremongering perfection

And the bezel has been in production for years on the SS model. Now all of a sudden, it is too hard to make.

Sold my Pepsi on jubilee to fund my Royal oak chrono. There are days I miss it for sure….. best Rolex in my opinion

I went start of the year for my friend to buy a daydate olive. Once he was done… my Sa told me to have a seat and offered me the watch. The night before she asked me what watches I would want.

Told her a blue sky, Pepsi or a Batman.

I don't know, I think it looks great but on the wrist the Jub is a bit flimsy and is overpowered by the head, the Oyster is more sturdy and balanced I think. Nice to have both but if one I would choose Oyster. Jub for sure on a DJ.

Completely agree. I'd go one step further and swap the pcl oyster for a brushed bracelet from a 114060 with the glidelock.
