Incoming 126610LV

Well, I saw a couple of incomings last week and even saw a few members mention the “wave” of particular models that seems to arrive from time to time.

After discussing an engagement ring and purchasing a simple Tudor Ranger two weeks ago I told my AD manager to keep me in mind for “early next year” for the green submariner. I had mentioned it a few times but never really followed up like I did with my LN.

Anyway, today out of the blue and unexpectedly I get a text:
Won’t be at the store to pick up until Wednesday but yes, it appears the wave of 126610LVs is still holding on for a bit longer.

Congrats! I have had the previous 126 and now have the newer 126 and prefer the color. Solid green and not the pastelish green. Bet you are excited.

This thread gives me hope as I’m on the “waitlist” with my AD for the same model, and I have spend history with them (126610LN). Let’s see.

Congrats to you!

I am on the list at two different AD’s for this watch. I like the new green and that’s honestly the only thing that I didn’t prefer with the older one. I hope to have this by next year some time as the markets soften. If sooner, all the better.

I, too, prefer the newer green over the previous iteration.

Just updating that I picked this up just now. Very happy with it as looking at this on Rolex’s site last year was what got me interested in submariners and Rolex in general. Now it’s my 3rd submariner this year. Maybe I’m crazy… maybe I just love subs…

I'm very curious on your thinking with subs. Could you walk us through which three subs you have and why you haven't purchased a GMT?

I emotionally feel like you, I love the sub, but if I had a second Rolex I would feel like it's "dumb" to buy another sub.

Congratulations - wear it in the best of health.

With the recent LVs coming through to ADs, I'm hopeful mine will arrive in time for my birthday next month... fingers crossed.
