Question to owners of the Super Jubilee bracelet!!

Hi guys,

The Super Jubilee all SOLID link bracelet (with concealed clasp) has been around now for quite a few years.

So my question is.....

Have those of you who've been using it over the past few years, noticed any S-T-R-E-T-C-H in the bracelet?

Have the SOLID links made a difference in increasing the longevity of the bracelet?

Thanks - JJ

JJ,

A friend I worked with has had a couple of old DJ's W/Jubilees over the past thirty or so years. He has worn a new one for the last three and thinks it is a great improvement in durablility. He also wears them loose and doesn't baby them at all.

JJ, I've had my DJ with super jubilee for about 15 months and wear it about 4 days a week. It's still SUPERB! No stretch at all and SO comfy I highly recommend this bracelet....the solid links are amazing.

Good question jj and in addition have there been any instances of the bracelet popping off,
coming unfastened?
This question because it doesn't have the flip lock.

JJ, mines been to London, Paris, Fla, as well as worn at home and I've found no stretch what so ever.

A very commanding snap on my enclosure and never once had it open inadvertently.

I wear mine 24/7 for almost 2 years, no problems EVER with the watch comming undone. The clasp is tight!

JJ I don't think they're capable of the usual

strecthing found with hollow links. I think if anything the pins may wear out before anything ever happens to the links.

I've had my DJ TOG with super jubilee for over a year now and it dates to 2005 and it's as crisp as ever.

I would but it won't fit!! The new DJ-II has a lug width of 21 mm while the Super Jubilee bracelet has a width of only 20 mm.

Have my M series DATEJUST with super jubilee bracelet for a full year. I don't use it, except for suit and tie dinners or lunches (which would be about once every 4 months), I haven't noticed any stretch. In comparison to the former bracelet on the DJ, I didn't own one so I don't have reference to offer.

But the one I have now has NO STRETCH at all after around 3 uses. I went looking at the AD for a leather strap for the DJ, because I figured that I did not want to sell the watch one day and the bracelet be all stretched. The lady at the AD said they didn't have a leather bracelet for the DJ, but that the new super jubilee was designed not to stretch --- EVER !!!

Is the above clever marketing?

Porblem is, I need a watch to accompany it - and the new DJ II has not yet THE Dial, I am waiting for

I had mine since 2006, my wife wears it religiously for the past year and it still like new. No stretching and is as solid as the day I bought it. One thing that I love about the jubilee bracelet is that it's harder to detect any scratches given the curvature of each link.

JJ,

I am assuming the ladies Datejust new jubilee is the same as what you are talking about. My bracelet has solid links with the concealed clasp.

I got my watch in Oct 07 and I wear it 24/7. There hasn't been any stretch at all, as far as I can tell. My watch fits exactly the same as when purchased. I have a small wrist, and my watch would slide if it had stretched at all.

Hope that helps! I LOVE my Jubilee bracelet and it doesn't show scratches at all!

Thanks for the feedback, Kaya. Yes, the ladies Super Jubilee would be the same as the gents with ALL SOLID links. I guess these solid links have made a huge difference in determining the life-span and non-stretchability of the bracelet.

Thanks for all the feedback, guys.

Cheers - JJ
