Casioak Redux
I purchased the first version 2 years ago to have something for working out and when in environments where I wasn’t comfortable wearing my other watches.
Honestly I’ve had a love/hate feeling for this watch. I felt like I had to go back to YT every time I wanted to use some of the functions and it was rather frustrating. So yesterday I picked up the Solar/BT version to see if managing it from my phone would solve this problem. We’re heading to some countries in SA next month and I need something like this, so we’ll see. Curious how others feel-it will either be lesson learned or fit the bill for me with this one. At least it’s an inexpensive lesson one way or the other… |

I find the CasiOaks difficult to set. Being a Medicare recipient, my vision is not all it can be and I find the little date window hard to see. I prefer my Apple Watch. More functionality.

If you use it infrequently, then, like anything, you may need to read up on what you want it to do.
I agree that the screens are small, and I need to put on some readers to see the little window, but it is a tradeoff from the much larger versions. I just spent a few weeks up in Scotland, Ireland, and Wales, in the rain - then off to some other countries with different time zones. I found that I needed to look up some minor directions the first couple of times but found those easy to learn and retain.
