Consensus is dealers only offer to their customers that spend the most at that AD.

Unfortunately from what I've seen some ADs sell to flippers instead of their top clients.

I’m waiting almost 3 years, so I would say it’s hard.

Yeah I think it's certainly possible, just be prepared for a very long wait, especially as Rolex are now apparently starting to decrease production of them due to the dual-coloured bezel being a pain in the ass to get right. Apparently it's not an easy task to make the two bezel colours meet perfectly in a crsip edge without bleeding into each other.

Since someone made a video on youtube I now believe it. I think my AD made the most honest answer on this one…..no one knows until Watches and Wonders next year. |

Generally speaking along with the Panda Daytona, one of the two most difficult stainless to be allocated.

Depends on the customer and the AD. Mine took 15 months. It's impossible to predict how long it would take anyone else.

Generally speaking, one of the toughest to get from an AD. Having a well established relationship with an AD does help from my experience.

If I had to wait 3 years I’d be looking at what the trusted sellers on the forum have for sale

If you are not a regular at your AD then it’s very difficult. If you are sure that you want it, and you can swing it, go grey. Quick and painless with a trusted seller. You can get them at a less painful price if you look hard enough at their listings and don’t hem and haw until that deal is gone.

Difficult, if not impossible, unless you have a hook or a huge spend history.

Without a long-term relationship, I would say zero.

Now after that wait and purchase my relationship with my AD appears to have rapidly progressed and things are moving along a lot quicker for a Yacht Master 40mm and Explorer 40mm. I may put myself on the list for the BRLO and wait it out. |

I got mine three days after asking for one two years ago. I had bought two Rolex watches from this AD going back to 2016 and three or four IWCs over the past several years. I had never asked them for a Rolex other than a Datejust 36 for my wife which they sourced in under six weeks. The other Rolex was a 116610LV I bought out of the window in 2016.
When I asked, my salesman told me to standby. He seemed to know one was coming in and straight up pushed me to the top of the list. That same AD and same salesman have had me waiting two or three months now for a blue dial Yacht-Master 40mm. I am not angry in the least. A lot of it is pure luck and who is ahead of you. |
