Price of my Men's President

Hi, I have a men's President from around 1979-1980. I also have the original paper with the serial number etched into the paper. I'd say it's in fair to good shape and only needs a good cleaning to remove the scratch marks from the bezel and band. What can I expect to get for this and where should I try to sell it.

Thanks so much for your help.

Jay

First off, welcome to TRF, Jay. Glad you found our friendly forum.

As for your question, can you post some pics of the watch in question? What's the metal: YG, Pt? What are the markers - stick, Romans, Arabic, diamonds?

The value of a 1979-80 DD can range from $4K - 10K, depending on a variety of factors, including those above. You might want to check e-Bay for comparables, but unless you're a veteran seller, I wouldn't try to sell it there. You can also check the reputable grey dealers for comparables.

Once you meet the criteria for posting on the Sale forum, you could offer it for sale there. Time Zone is another place to sell your watch.
