A couple more pictures. I have bought some watches and jewelry. They allocated a watch this year so maybe they are making it up to me. Bought a couple peices of jewelry for the wife. But nothing that comes close to this peice. I was looking for an oysterflex daytona.

The reason you were offered this watch was due to amount of money they’d made from you on other purchases. Sorry to break the news

I may get groaned at, but in my view baby blue and chocolate brown are not two colours that co-ordinate together very well. Still, it's a nice piece and I love the rear transparent caseback. Enjoy!

It’s an “ in the eye of the beholder” thing, of course. But I couldn’t disagree more. I find it amazing.

So if I’m being honest I held this same opinion from seeing this reference in photos. I was like “ice blue, chocolate brown, and how much money?!” No chance.

Then I saw one in the flesh in Las Vegas, promptly ate every word I’ve ever said against this color scheme and now I want one lol. Once you see one in the metal it’s a whole different ballgame. It doesn’t coordinate with anything so it goes with everything, and even for a smaller case the wrist presence when you know the watch is undeniable.

Same here. I danced around it for years as I don’t wear brown. But once I tried it on, the brown bezel is really nice and takes on many colors, from bright brown, to maroon, to black. It’s my favorite watch now and a nice alternative to the plethora of black watches I’ve owned.
