Rolex in cinema

So many have appeared in movies, do you have a favorite appearance of a Rolex in a film? The Deep (1977) is a great one for a Submariner, and Flight of the Intruder (1991) has many great watches, not all Rolex. But my all time favorite has to be in Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) with the Day-Date. Do any scenes or movies stick out to you when thinking Rolex?

In the Line of Fire Eastwood wears what I believe is a GMT. Lost in Translation Murray wears a date just.

Tony in The Sopranos for me as well.
Also, when Nicholas Cage pawns his Rolex Daytona in Leaving Las Vegas. "$500 for a 1993 Rolex Daytona...I'll do it."

Rolex in cinema

It’s almost a cliche now, but for me, it’s the Submariner in the early Bond films.

James Spader in The Blacklist. 16710 on jubilee.

My first thought was James Bond and the second Tony Soprano. Both mentioned before.

And TRF is the party place for the "Marathon man" fans! Exactly that should be the reason why we have so many "Is it safe" topics.

Not necessarily a favorite appearance, but I did notice Sharon Stone's Submariner Date in the film Sphere (1998).

She was ahead of her time.

Not to point you away from this forum, but https://www.rolexmagazine.com/ has a great archive on Rolexes worn by actors across screen, stage, and much more. I learned about this forum from that one.

Stone wearing the sub in sphere was awesome, I think Cameron Diaz wears a sub also in Knight and Day?, also like Nic Cage in national treasure when he asks to borrow a 100 dollar bill and hands the cashier his sub. So many good move references. Also, one of the detectives in Dexter wears a gold GMT.
