it's your collection and the only opinion that matters with any collection is yourself only ,so buy the watch you want its that simple.

I think you need a datejust 36 or a 5 digit explorer II.
The Explorer 36 is just too boring for the monetary value assigned to it. |

Personally feel the Omega Aqua Terra is a much better watch than the Explorer 1 and it can be picked up for half the price used. |

Honestly I'd probably take the black bay 54. That watch surprised me with hoenive it was on my wrist. Sold it to build towards a grail piece and it's probably the sale I regret the most.
If you can forget about the name on the dial, it's miles ahead of the explorer 36 imo. Sent from my SM-S916W using Tapatalk |

I’d go for the explorer. The BB is too much like sub, which you have. You already have a GMT so explorer 2 is off the table. The explorer 1 would be my vote

But if it were me, I'd try to add another non-Rolex watch. Possibly something vintage. How about a Speedmaster? |

That's a tough one. I have both in a small collection, and really wouldn't want to give up either. If push came to shove, I guess I'd let go of the BB54 first.

If I had that collection I’d add an AP to it ..

Keep the Explorer, it’s a classic, especially in the 36 size
